Israel appoints first ambassador to Bahrain

Israel has appointed its first ambassador to Bahrain since the normalization of relations with the Arab state of the Persian Gulf a year ago, Report informs, citing Associated Press.
Appointed ambassador Eitan Na'eh previously served as interim head of the Israeli embassy in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) for eight months.
Diplomatic relations between the UAE and Israel were established in August last year and Bahrain in September.
This week, Bahrain's first ambassador to Israel, Khaled Yousif Al Jalahma, presented his credentials to the government.
