Islamic Resistance in Iraq attacks US base near Erbil International Airport

Fighters of the Shiite movement Islamic Front for Iraqi Resistance attacked a US military base near Erbil International Airport in Iraq’s Kurdistan, the group said in a statement posted on its Telegram channel, Report informs, citing TASS.

According to the movement, the shelling came as a response to "the crimes committed by Israel against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip" with the support of the United States. The group said that a drone was launched towards the base, which allegedly hit the intended target.
