Ireland allocates extra €40M in aid to Ukraine

Ireland's Minister for Foreign Affairs, Trade and Defence, Helen McEntee, announced the allocation of an additional €40 million in humanitarian aid to Ukraine during her first visit to Kyiv, Report informs via Ukrainian media.

The Irish minister made the statement at a press conference with her Ukrainian counterpart, Andrii Sybiha.

"I am pleased to announce the allocation of an additional €40 million to support humanitarian aid and stabilization efforts in Ukraine," McEntee noted.

Thus, Ireland's total humanitarian aid and support this year will amount to €65 million.
