Hamas must stop making public calls on Iran and Lebanon’s Hezbollah party to join the conflict with Israel, President of Iran Ebrahim Raisi demanded during the meeting with head of the Hamas Politburo Ismail Haniyeh, according to Reuters, Report informs via TASS.
According to Reuters, Iran demanded that Haniyeh silences those Hamas members who call on Iran and the Hezbollah to act against Israel in full force.
The situation in the Middle East has escalated abruptly after an armed infiltration of HAMAS militants from the Gaza Strip into Israel.
