The labor union of South Korean automaker Hyundai Motor, comprising 43,000 members, has announced its decision to join the nationwide strike organized by the Korean Confederation of Trade Unions (KCTU) demanding the resignation of President Yoon Suk Yeol.
Report informs via Yonhap that a union representative stated, "The Hyundai union will hold a four-hour strike on both Thursday and Friday in solidarity with the ongoing protests."
This development comes on the heels of an earlier report by YTN, a South Korean television network, which revealed that the KCTU had declared an indefinite general strike that would continue until the president steps down from his position.
