The number of COVID-19 cases is steadily declining in the most affected countries in Asia, Europe, and North America.
Report informs that India has confirmed about 100,000 new cases, the lowest level since April 5. However, the country still ranks first in the number of new cases. In Indonesia, compared to February, the daily cases decreased by 2.5 times to 5,000-6,000. Turkey and Iran showed ten times and 2.5 times decline, respectively, compared to April.
In the United States, the number of daily infections fell below 20,000 to the level of March 2020.
In South America, the cases have reached their peak during the pandemic. Brazil reported 95,600 new infections on Friday. In Argentina, the number of daily infections is around 30,000-35,000.
