Germany urges Israel not to retaliate after Iran's recent attack on the Jewish state, Report informs.
“It is important for us that this moment is used for further de-escalation and that Israel also uses this success to somewhat strengthen its positions throughout the region and does not respond with a massive attack,” Chancellor Olaf Scholz said.
He noted that this issue will be discussed at the upcoming Brussels summit.
He added that the Iranian attack was unprecedented in its scale. However, the Israeli military was able to repel it with the help of friends and allies.
