Germany approves arms exports worth €5.2B

Germany authorized arms exports valued at €5.2 billion in the first quarter of 2024, according to the Ministry of Economy, Report informs.
This figure represents a more than two-fold increase from the first quarter of the previous year, where exports totaled €2.4 billion.
Notably, 74% of these exports, amounting to €3.8 billion, were directed to Ukraine. Overall, the year 2023 saw Germany approve weapon exports worth €12.2 billion.
