German President to pay visit to Türkiye

German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier is set to visit Türkiye on April 22–24, Report informs, citing Turkish media.
It was reported that Steinmeier will meet his Turkish counterpart, Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
The purpose of the visit is related to the 100th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries. In addition to Istanbul, the German President will visit Gaziantep and Ankara as part of his visit.
The presidents are expected to discuss relations between Berlin and Ankara in various fields.
