German police say lack forces to tackle massive pro-Palestinian protests

The German police union said that against the background of the growing number of pro-Palestinian actions, law enforcement officers do not have enough of their own forces, so assistance is required from the German government and the authorities of the federal states, according to Report.

The union noted that the load on operational services has reached its peak. "The zenith has already been passed several weeks ago, our colleagues are exhausted morally and physically. We cannot cope with this on our own and need significant support from the German government and the authorities of the federal states, not only this weekend, but also on November 9 and 18."

In recent weeks, more than 1,200 offenses of various types have been registered throughout Germany at rallies related to the Palestinian-Israeli conflict.
