German chancellor to visit Moldova on August 21

German Chancellor Olaf Scholz will pay a working visit to Moldova on August 21, according to Report, which cites the press service of Moldova's presidential administration.
The information notes that the visit will take place at the invitation of President Maia Sandu.
Germany is one of Moldova's most important partners in the process of modernization and the country's accession to the European Union, the message says.
