German chancellor promises Ukraine financial & military support

Western countries will continue to provide support to Ukraine in various areas, including in the field of reconstruction, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz said in Montreal after a meeting with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, Report informs referring to TASS.

"We will continue to provide the support that we have provided in recent months, in particular financial assistance," he said. "The same applies to support for Ukraine in the field of defense."

"We will do everything for the successful recovery of Ukraine," Scholz added.
