The number of employees of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) who have lost their lives in the Gaza Strip during the escalation of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict has surpassed 200, according to Report, which cites UNRWA Commissioner-General Philippe Lazzarini.

"We have reached a tragic and catastrophic milestone that I had hoped we would never cross. Since the beginning of the war in October 2023, we have lost 202 UNRWA colleagues, all killed in Gaza. May they rest in peace," Lazzarini stated in the message.
