G7 nations working on new package of anti-Russian sanctions

Nations of the Group of Seven (G7) are preparing to impose a new package of sanctions on Russia in connection with the situation in Ukraine, UK Foreign Secretary Liz Truss has said, Report informs, citing TASS.
"The G7 is already working together on a package of new sanctions," she said, adding that those measures were aimed at weakening the Russian economy.
In her words, Western nations were set to deprive the Russian leadership of the ability to fund its "war machine."
