The leader of the New Zealand National Party, which won the parliamentary elections in October, Christopher Lacson, has announced his readiness to form a government and announced the composition of the country’s new cabinet of ministers, Report informs.
He wrote on X that he had informed the governor-general about his readiness to form a government and added that he was looking forward to being sworn in as the 42nd Prime Minister of New Zealand.
The new cabinet will include 20 ministers: 14 from the New Zealand National Party and three each from the ACT and the New Zealand First party.
