French politician calls for “destroying” EU

The leader of the French movement The Patriots, Florian Philippot, has called for “destroying” the EU in order to “save” French agriculture, Report informs.

The politician was commenting on Brussels’ decision to accelerate the adoption of a free trade agreement with MERCOSUR.

He wrote on X that this agreement will cause serious damage to French agriculture.

“This decision will kill our agriculture. Let’s destroy the EU before it destroys us!” he wrote.
