French Leftists unite in nationwide demonstrations against Macron

Massive demonstrations organized by supporters of left-wing parties are sweeping across France.

According to Report, which cites TASS, the protesters are expressing their strong disagreement with President Emmanuel Macron's refusal to appoint a candidate from the left-wing coalition "New Popular Front" (NPF) as the country's Prime Minister. They are also calling for the resignation of the French leader.
