Four people killed in Taiwan vehicle crash

Four people died in a traffic accident in Yunlin County of Taiwan on Saturday, one of them a 12-year-old boy, while 22 others were injured, according to police, Report informs, citing Focus Taiwan.

When emergency crews rushed to the scene of the accident on Freeway No. 3 near Douliu, the 12-year-old boy was pronounced dead, and three others had no vital signs, police said.

The three people without vital signs, one of them the boy's mother, were later pronounced dead at the hospitals where they were taken, according to police.

Twenty-two other people were injured in the accident, which occurred when a tour bus and a car collided on the southbound lane of the freeway, police said, adding that the details of the crash were still being investigated.
