Floods claim lives of 127 people in India

Floods affected about 8.3 million people in the state of Bihar in Eastern India, the disaster claimed the lives of 127 people.

Report informs citing the RIA Novosti that the most affected area by the disaster was Sitamarhi district, where 37 people were killed.

Relief operations are carried out at the scene, the authorities provide assistance to victims of floods and precipitation.
