Fire breaks out at Japan’s Shimane Nuclear Power Plant

A small fire has occurred in the turbine room of the second reactor of the Shimane nuclear power plant in the Japanese prefecture of the same name, according to the station operator Chugoku Electric Power and the administration of Shimane Prefecture, Report informs referring to TASS.
The incident had no impact on the environment and no one was injured.
Photos published by the operator company show a wiring junction box with the left side melted.
The reasons for the incident are still unknown.
