Finnish President: We must take Turkiye's concerns seriously

Turkiye's objections to Finland's accession to NATO came as a surprise to the Finnish President, Report informs, citing Interfax.

"I was surprised by Turkiye's position, but we must take seriously the topics on which it expresses concern," Finnish President Sauli Niinistö said at a press conference.

Niinistö added, "let's hope we can find a solution that will suit everyone."
