Finland extended border restrictions

Finland has extended until January 16 restrictions on cross-border travel due to the coronavirus pandemic and will begin requiring PCR tests from December 21, including for vaccinated people, taken 48 hours before travel, RIA Novosti quotes the Finnish Interior Ministry, according to Report.

"The restrictions on entry at the external border, in force in Finland, will remain, and security measures related to health will be tightened. The decision is valid until January 16," the statement reads.

According to the government's decision, passengers arriving from outside the EU and the Schengen area, and those, who received a full series of coronavirus vaccinations, must have a negative PCR test from December 21, taken 48 hours before entry.
