Several explosive devices were discovered at a Tesla dealership in Austin, Texas, prompting a major police response.
Report informs via ABC News that police found the suspicious devices on the morning of March 24. Bomb squads later confirmed they were explosives and successfully neutralized them. Fortunately, no injuries were reported, and an investigation is ongoing.
The FBI has since launched a task force to address escalating threats against Tesla.
"Acts of violence, vandalism, and domestic terrorism—such as the recent attacks on Tesla—will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law," the bureau stated.
A law enforcement source told ABC News that authorities have documented 48 incidents targeting Tesla dealerships, vehicles, and charging stations.
