European Parliament supports supply of Taurus cruise missiles to Kyiv

The European Parliament (EP) supported the idea of ​​transferring Taurus cruise missiles to Kyiv, the head of the Christian Democratic Union of Germany and the Christian Social Union in Bavaria (CDU/CSU) group in the EP, Daniel Kaspari said, Report informs via the Bild newspaper.

The majority of Germany's ruling coalition in the European Parliament expressed support for the initiative - 451 MPs voted for the transfer of missiles to Ukraine, 46 were against it, and another 49 MPs refused to participate in the vote.

Earlier, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz stated that Taurus is one of the weapons that requires German military personnel to control, so supplies of such missiles to Ukraine were out of the question.
