European Commission receives letter from Kyiv with proposal to export grain

The European Union is discussing with the Ukrainian authorities the strengthening of alternative routes for the export of grain to the Black Sea after the termination of the grain deal, Report informs via TASS.

European Commission representative Miriam Garcia said at a press conference in Brussels on Tuesday that discussions are also underway about the route through the Baltic ports.

“Our goal is to export grain, as well as to look for alternative ways to the Black Sea. The European Commission is fully involved in the consideration of all corridors, the Baltic corridor is also very important,” she said.

According to the EC representative, Brussels received a letter with a proposal from the Ukrainian authorities regarding the export of grain after the termination of the grain deal.
