EU transfers first tranche of 3B euros to Ukraine within aid program

The European Union has transferred the first tranche of 3 billion euros to Ukraine, Report informs citing TASS.
The funds were provided as part of a loan assistance program for a total of 18 billion euros for 2023.
On January 16, Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal wrote on Twitter that Ukraine and the European Union signed a memorandum on providing macro-financial assistance to Kyiv for 18 billion euros.
