The European Union is considering the possibility of creating a new post of defense commissioner for the bloc's countries, Report informs with reference to POLITICO.
The EU is considering creating a new post of defense commissioner to oversee the industrial aspects of defense policy, POLITICO said.
One of the likely candidates for the new position in the EU is the current head of the Polish Foreign Ministry, Radoslaw Sikorski. Another contender is Estonian Prime Minister Kaja Kallas.
