EU Council approves €4.2 billion aid package for Ukraine

The Council of the European Union has given the green light to a substantial financial assistance package for Ukraine, amounting to approximately €4.2 billion.
According to Report, Hungary's presidency said on X that having completed the written procedure, the Council today adopted a decision to provide the first tranche of around €4.2 billion under the Ukraine Support Fund.
