EU Council approves €2B increase in European Peace Facility

The EU Council has approved a 2 billion euro increase in the funding ceiling for the European Peace Facility, which pays for arms supplies to Kyiv, by 2023, Report informs referring to TASS.
EU foreign ministers have reached a political decision to raise the European Peace Facility’s funding ceiling for 2023 by 2 billion euros, with the possibility of further increases thereafter, according to the published statement of the EU Council.
The document notes that the final decision will be approved in early 2023.
