EU allocates about 10M euros to Lithuania to accept refugees

The European Commission has allocated about 10 million euros to Lithuania to strengthen the refugee reception system; the funds are aimed at strengthening the capacity of the EU’s external border and ensuring conditions for the reception and accommodation of arriving refugees, according to the LRT TV channel, Report informs referring to Russian media.
It is noted that, additional investments will be directed to the reconstruction of the Kybartai Alien Registration Centre so that it can cope with a potential increase in migration flows.
