EU-African Union summit scheduled for February 17, 2022

The summit of representatives of the European Union and the African Union will take place on February 17 next year, Report informs, citing TASS that this was stated in Barcelona by EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell following the ministerial meeting of the Union for the Mediterranean (UfM).

"Last year we were supposed to hold a Europe summit with the African Union, but because of the virus it was not possible [to do it], we already have a date [for the new summit], this is 17 February," he added.
