Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said he discussed the food crisis caused by the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine in a phone call with UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, according to Report.
He said that support for poor countries should continue: "Russian President Vladimir Putin proposed sending Russian grain to poor countries free of charge. We agreed with him on this. That's what we have to do."
Erdogan noted that this issue will be discussed at the G-20 summit on November 13-14.
