Emine Erdogan offers to establish fund for restoration of Gaza Strip

A fund should be established for the restoration of the Gaza Strip, Turkiye's First Lady Emine Erdogan said in her address to the participants of the 'One Heart for Palestine' summit of the spouses of Heads of State and Government held in Istanbul, Report informs.

"Our voices are stronger when we are together. Let us make this summit a concrete initiative for peace in Palestine. A fund should now be established within international organizations such as the UN and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) to rebuild the schools, parks, and hospitals," she noted.

Emine Erdogan stressed that the UN Security Council should take urgent measures to resolve the crisis in the Middle East: "I appeal to Israel and the 5 permanent members of the UN Security Council. This conflict must stop."
