An earthquake of magnitude 6.4 has jolted Afghanistan.
Report informs citing the European Mediterranean Seismological Center that the epicenter of the earthquake was 41 km south of the village of Jurm with a population of around 12,000 people. The source lay at a depth of 188 km.
