An international donors conference in Warsaw on Thursday collecting funds for Ukraine raised around $6.5 billion, Poland's Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki said, Report informs, citing the Ukrainian media.
According to him, Poland will provide an additional 100 million euros in humanitarian aid to Ukraine.
"We will make sure that these funds reach the Ukrainian people as quickly and efficiently as possible," he said.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky also addressed the International Donor Conference. He said that Ukraine needs a strategic plan for international support, which will become a modern analogue of the historic Marshall Plan.
