Damage from floods in northern France estimated at €550M

Damage from floods in the Hauts-de-France region (northern France) is estimated at €550 million, the French state Central Reinsurance Fund (CCR) said, Report informs.
At least 50% (€275 million) of the amount will be provided by CCR.
The fund emphasized that this estimate may be revised.
CCR was established in 1982. It offers reinsurance coverage against natural disasters to French insurance companies.
