Czechia, Germany to patrol shared borders against illegal immigration

Czech and German police will form joint patrols that will protect their common border from the infiltration of illegal refugees, Report informs via Czech Radio.

A corresponding agreement was reached by the internal ministers of the Czech Republic and Germany.

Joint border patrols will begin in the coming days. German police will be able to participate in operations to detain illegal refugees on the Czech side of the border, and Czech police on the German side. A similar practice exists on the Czech-Slovak border.

Also, according to the radio, the internal affairs ministers of the Czech Republic, Germany and Poland agreed to create a group consisting of experts from three countries to combat the organizers of the entry of illegal refugees into the territory of the European Union.
