Czech Republic seeks man who threatened hundreds of schools with bombs

Czech police are searching for a criminal who sent emails threatening to plant explosive devices in hundreds of schools in the country, according to the ČTK news agency, Report informs referring to TASS.

The emails with bomb threats were received by the school administrations of the republic on September 3.

According to the agency, the police have taken the necessary security measures that should have a minimal impact on the educational process.

"We want to assure the public that we have no specific information that anyone is under threat," the police assured in turn on X.

Experts from the National Center for Combating Terrorism, Extremism and Cybercrime have been brought in to investigate the incident.
