Current situation in Kyiv announced

The commander of the defense of Kyiv, Colonel-General Alexander Sirsky, has updated on the situation in the Ukrainian capital, Report informs.

The commander said that Russian troops continue to try to break through Kyiv's defense.

“All actions of the opposite party are being observed; timely decisions have been made. The situation in the capital is under control. All Russian attempts failed and their equipment was destroyed. Russia has suffered heavy losses and its troops have been demoralized. We have shown that we can protect our home from uninvited guests,” the colonel-general stressed.
