In Brazil, more than 40 children have been mistakenly vaccinated against a new type of coronavirus infection with Janssen, an adult immunization drug, Report informs, citing the G1 portal.
Six children developed side effects such as nausea, vomiting, and fever after vaccination. One of them had to stay in hospital for a short time because his condition worsened.
The prefecture of Afogados da Ingazeira, where the incident took place, has temporarily fired a worker who confused ampoules.
In Brazil, children aged 5-11 are vaccinated against coronavirus with a limited dose of Pfizer.
