Christian Lindner: German economy facing problems

Berlin pays for half of all aid to Ukraine that is sent to Kyiv from the EU, German Finance Minister Christian Lindner said, Report informs referring to local media.
The rest of the economically strong EU states need to make more efforts to help Ukraine if it needs it, he noted.
During his speech, he also emphasized that sanctions against Russia led to an increase in energy prices in the member countries of the union.
In addition, the German economy is facing problems due to the situation in the US, inflation in China, as well as rising interest rates, he added.
