China's army sends over 400 troops to help in Tibet earthquake zone

The People's Liberation Army of China (PLA) has sent more than 400 troops to the Tibet Autonomous Region (TAR), where a devastating earthquake occurred, Report informs referring to the Xinhua news agency.
It is noted that about 2,000 more soldiers and officers are on high alert and can join the search and rescue operation at any time.
During the operation, as specified, transport and medical aircraft, as well as helicopters of the country's Air Force, can be involved at any time.
The PLA also used drones to survey the affected areas.
