China ready to contribute to progress in Russia-Ukraine talks

China is ready to play a constructive role in advancing Russian-Ukrainian negotiations, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Wang Wenbin said on Wednesday, Report informs, citing TASS.

"We will continue to play a constructive role and provide assistance to normalize the situation in Ukraine," he told a briefing, answering the question of whether Beijing is ready to act as a guarantor of a peace agreement between Moscow and Kyiv.
