China's southern island of Hainan had evacuated more than 400,000 people as of Friday ahead of the expected landfall of Super Typhoon Yagi, according to Report, which cites Xinhua.
"The southern Chinese province of Hainan had relocated 419,367 residents as of 11:30 am on Friday with super typhoon Yagi approaching," local authorities said.
