Bulgaria accuses Russian diplomat of espionage

The Bulgarian prosecutor's office opened a criminal case against a Russian diplomat on espionage charges.
Report informs citing TASS that the diplomat is not named.
"The investigation established that a citizen of the Russian Federation, who has diplomatic immunity, carried out unregulated intelligence activities incompatible with diplomatic relations on the territory of Bulgaria," the statement said.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bulgaria Teodora Genchovska has been notified of the materials collected during the investigation for further action.
