British vessel attacked off coast of Yemen

A merchant vessel was attacked 70 nautical miles northwest of Saleef, Yemen, Report informs via United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO).
The UKMTO has received a report of an incident in this area.
The Master of the vessel reported that it was hit by two unknown projectiles. Damage control efforts are currently underway, and the Master has also reported a third explosion in close proximity to the vessel.
Fortunately, there are no casualties onboard, and the vessel is proceeding to its next port of call. Authorities are investigating the incident. Vessels in the area are advised to transit with caution and report any suspicious activity to UKMTO.
