Borrell: Ukraine asked for 7 Patriot air defense systems

The Ukrainian side asked the EU for seven Patriot air defense systems, EU Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell said at a press conference broadcast on the official video portal of the European Commission, Report informs.

He noted that European countries can quickly transfer Patriot to Kyiv.

At the next meeting of EU foreign and defense ministers, he plans to bring up for discussion the issue of supplying air defense systems to the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
