A bomb blast hit a search team of the Pakistani army on Tuesday in Pakistan's northwestern tribal district of North Waziristan, leaving two soldiers dead, the military said in a statement.
The Inter Service Public Relations (ISPR), the media wing of the Pakistani army, noted that security forces were conducting a clearance operation in the Dosalli area of the district when an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) exploded and killed two soldiers.
Last week, four Pakistani border guards were killed and 18 wounded in an attack on a checkpoint in Quetta, Pakistan.
