Blinken, Herzog discuss ongoing plight of hostages

The President of Israel, Isaac Herzog, met with the US Secretary of State, Antony Blinken, Report informs, citing the President’s X account.

“We discussed the ongoing plight of the hostages and the need to bring them home immediately. There is no greater hypocrisy than the accusations against Israel - which operates in accordance to international humanitarian law doing all it can to protect civilians - as we battle a cruel and barbaric enemy who deliberately and gleefully carry out mass murder while hiding behind human shields,” President Herzog said.
