Biden to nominate Bridget Brink as US ambassador to Ukraine

Ambassador Bridget Brink is the front-runner as President Joe Biden’s choice for ambassador to Ukraine, Report informs referring to Bloomberg.
Brink is currently the US ambassador to Slovakia, a role she’s held since July 2019. She’s previously served on the National Security Council and at US outposts in Serbia, Uzbekistan and Georgia, among others.
The decision isn’t final, but White House officials have told people privately that Biden intends to nominate her, according to the people familiar with the matter.
White House officials didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment. Biden’s interest in naming Brink was reported earlier by CNN.
